Islands Tour

FOR YOUR INFORMATION : Once we arrive to each destination on this tour you will have the freedom to explore the island independently. We believe that is the best way to conduct the tour so our guests can enjoy their experience even more! Naturally, any questions and recommendations will be addressed by our experienced guide.
Our first stop is Murano, world-renowned for its exquisite glassmaking tradition, dating back to the 13th century. You can grab a coffee, stroll along the main street (riva) taking in some of the glass shops or visiting one of the many furnaces to see how these unique works of art are made by master glass artisans.
Then it’s on to historical Torcello, the smallest of the 3 islands. This is where the first Venetians settled in 452 AD and home to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the oldest church in the lagoon. You enter the canals of Torcello surrounded by the characteristic marshlands (barena) while being accompanied by the wildlife native to the area.
Our final stop is Burano, an island famous for its vibrant, colourful houses and its centuries old lace-making tradition. You will have plenty of time to wander and explore what many people consider ‘the most beautiful island in the lagoon’. Here we can provide you with recommendations on the best restaurants and local eateries for an enjoyable and relaxing lunch.
From Burano we head back across the lagoon to our starting point in Venice.
